« La meilleure publication italienne à l'occasion de l'anniversaire centenaire du Titanic et l'un des ouvrages les mieux rédigés ». Ce commentaire a été fait par un des nombreux lecteurs du livre « R.M.S. Titanic – Dal cantiere all’oceano » (en anglais “From the shipyard to the ocean”), un livre écrit par un jeune auteur, Gaetano Anania. La trame de l'ouvrage se focalise sur le personnage de William Walsh, étudiant en ingénierie navale à Belfast qui rédige au fur et a mesure un journal ou il décrit ce qu'il observe sur les chantiers d'Harland and Wolff. Pour la première fois, un livre évoque ce qui s'est déroulé en détail sur le portique Arrol durant la construction des paquebots de la classe Olympic. Walsh est capable d'explorer les chantiers grâce à l'aide de son ami Patrick Pitt, un ouvrier. Après cela, William Walsh fait aussi la connaissance de Thomas Andrews qui sera son guide en explorant le portique ou sont construits les paquebots.William Walsh communique aux lecteurs du livre sa grande passion pour les sisterships, les RMS Olympic et Titanic, et son impatience de la fin de leurs constructions. Il décrit le travail acharné, la fierté et les sacrifices des ouvriers des chantiers Harland and Wolff.Le héros embarquera à bord du Titanic lors de son voyage inaugural puisqu'il appartient au groupe de techniciens chargés de vérifier tous les recoinsdu Titanic durant son premier voyage. Ensemble avec Thomas Andrews, William explorera l'intérieur du paquebot.La nuit du 15 avril 1912, à 23h40, William Walsh s'arrête dans ses écrits en même temps que les vibrations du Titanic. Peu après, sur le pont , il s'adresse a Thomas Andrews et découvre que le Titanic coulera rapidement. Will survivra t-il au naufrage ? C'est au lecteur de le découvrir désormais....Pour terminer, le livre est original puisqu'il raconte l'histoire entière des chantiers Harland and Wolff, la vie à bord du Titanic durant son unique voyage mais également le naufrage du navire. De plus, le protagoniste décrit la construction des deux autres sisterships souvent oubliés, l'Olympic et le Gigantic (plus connu sous le nom de Britannic). C'est pourquoi un autre lecteur a commenté ceci : « Gaetano Anania est capable de décrire la vraie histoire et non celle du Titanic uniquement, mais celle des trois paquebots de la classe Olympic. »

“The best italian publication for the sinking centenary and one of the best book ever written about the Titanic” this was a comment by a reader of “R.M.S. Titanic – Dal cantiere all’oceano” (translation “From the shipyard to the ocean”), a book written by the italian young man Gaetano Anania. The story is about William Walsh, naval engineering student in Belfast, who writes a diary where he describes all what he sees in the Harland & Wolff. For the first time, a book tells about all what happened at the Arrol Gantry during the construction of the “Olympic” class liners, in a very deep way. Walsh is able to explores the shipyard thanks to help of his friend Patrick Pitt, a worker of the H&W. And after, Walsh knows also Thomas Andrews who will be his guide exploring the Arrol Gantry.
Walsh communicates to this book’s readers, his great passion for the twin ships and his impatience for the end of their construction. He describes the work, the pride and the sacrifices of the workers of the H&W. 
Walsh will be onboard the Titanic for the maiden voyage, because he is part of the group of technicians who check the ship during her first navigation. Togheter with Andrews, he will explore the whole Titanic.
The night of 14th of april 1912, at the 23:40 p.m. o’clock, Walsh stops writing on his diary, cause of a ship’s vibration. After, on the boat deck, he speaks to Andrews and he discovers by him that Titanic will sink fastly. Will Walsh survive to the sinking? It’s a reader’task to discover this…
Lastly, this book is original because it tells overall the story of the shipyard and life onboard the ship during the navigation, also if the sinking is well described.
Furthermore, Walsh describes also the construction of the Olympic and the Gigantic, future Britannic, two ships often forgotten.
That’s why another reader’s comment was “Gaetano Anania was able to describes the true story not only of the Titanic, but of all Olympic class liners”.
